Eine junge Katze braucht mehrmals täglich kleine Mahlzeiten und das Futter soll leicht verdaulich und energiereich sein, sowie ausreichend tierische Eiweiße, Mineralstoffe und Vitamine enthalten.
Für die kleinen Kätzchen ist Trockenfutter sehr geeignet, da über den Tag verteilt, kleine Mengen aufgenommen werden können.
Nebenbei wird noch die Kaumuskulatur trainiert und das Futter hat eine zahnreinigende Funktion.
Auch das im Handel erhältliche Dosenfutter enthält natürlich alle lebenswichtige Nährstoffe.
