Schritt 1 / 3 - PVC zuschneiden

Zuerst schneidet man mit einem Cutter den PVC-Boden passend zu. Und mit einem T-Lineal werden die Ecken auch rechtwinkelig. Übrigens das geniale an dieser DIY-Fußmatte ist, dass man die Maße selbst bestimmen kann. Nur der Stoff zum Abdecken muss ausreichend sein, aber sicherlich ist es auch möglich zwei Stoffstücke aneinander zu nähen, wenn dies notwendig ist. Das wird dann allerdings eine seeeeeehr große Matte :P Übrigens: anstatt PVC ein Stück Pappe zu nehmen,  ist nicht empfehlenswert. Wenn die Pappe nass wird, löst diese sich auf. Und der PVC-Boden verhindert zudem, dass die Feuchtigkeit durchdringt. Gerade bei empfindlichen Holzböden ist das besonders zu beachten, denn man will nachher keine hässlichen Flecken unter der Matte haben, die man erstmal nicht bemerkt hat.
